Went here today for a birthday dinner. Was very, very tasty. Staff very nice and not pushy. All plates were empty afterwards, including those of the children, that means something!

We have always loved to be here, and we celebrated our wedding here 5 years ago. Yesterday I had reserved a table, when we arrived the blow hit us .... between NONE of the guests the minimum distance of 1.50m was kept! Our table was in the corner, the chair was back to back with the guest behind us and at the meeting it was a maximum of 1m to the next guest. We were and are very disappointed and left on the spot. We won't be seen again anytime soon. Really a shame ....

Very friendly service, room clean and spacious, bathroom a bit smaller. Good restaurant, dishes to be recommended (Grützwurst). Overall good value for money.

I am here for the first time on recommendation and I am totally thrilled! Unfortunately I can only give 5 stars! Unfortunately, only stay 2 nights! The room is spacious and very clean. The service was just great. The food of the bangers extremely tasty and varied! Breakfast sensational! I will book this hotel over and over and over again! Thanks for the great stay! Keep it up........

Long-established inn. The kitchen is simple. There is a little lack of sophistication because the prices are high. The stair lifter to the lower floor is worth mentioning.

The visit to the inn "Zur Linde" was unfortunately not a good star. Suppose we got room 29, in the evening we noticed that there was a sound like a buzzing continuously, it sounded like air conditioning or something. The next day we mentioned it and were able to change the room without any problems. But 2 rooms to the right (room 33) same problem. I have to say that the noise was only quiet but at night when other people are silent then you always concentrate on the annoying noise. In addition, the exhaust air in the bathroom was broken or not working properly, so it got very warm in there pretty quickly, since there were no windows. The TV reception was very disturbed and some programs do not work. Otherwise the room was very clean and well maintained. The country house style is a matter of taste. Unfortunately, the pictures on booking.com have shown other rooms (more modern) The breakfast is good but in Corona it was really surprising to offer a buffet. There are enough parking spaces at the house if it is not a celebration because then you have to look for a parking space somewhere else, which happened to us. Unfortunately, these are our experiences, which does not mean that other guests see it completely differently. Conclusion: We will not book here due to our bad experience. Recommendation 👍 (1/3)

Beautiful, cozy, nice small hotel. We visited it for the first time in 2006 when we moved with our family to Germany. We visited it again last year as a "nostalgic" trip. Highly recommendable. And Hittfeld, as well as the surroundig area, is like living in a fairy tale.

Very nice and welcoming staff. My overnight visit was unplanned, I was really just looking for a bed and shower, and finding such a nice hotel, 3 minutes from the highway, was like coming to an oasis. Excellent food to very reasonable prices, served in the lovely "Biergarten". The breakfast included absolutely up to standard. I have already recommended the hotel to friends and would certainly stay there again.

Only came for breakfast as we were passing through. Excellent. Probably the nicest German breakfast I have had. So much choice it was impossible to try everything. Highly recommend.

Terrible breakfast experience. Old breakfast meats, fish tasted rotten and salads were dried out. Coffee was more like slightly brown water and rolls were way too soft. It was supposed to be a nice birthday breakfast and it turned into a "we will never be back" experience. Just as bad as you would expect it an a dirt cheap motel in the u.s.
